Use this spell to increase patience and calm. This simple candle spell combines the purifying nature of fire with the soothing element of water. The melting ice gives this spell a transformative property that is enhanced by the magical characteristics of the rosemary, thyme, and lavender.
For this spell, I like to use large silicone ice molds with about 4" spell candles. I prefer silicone ice trays, because it makes the ice easier to remove. However, you can use smaller ice trays and candles of any size. I used a white candle, but a blue or black candle would also work well.
ITEMS NEEDED
candle (white, black, or blue)
ice tray (large silicone if possible)
water
lavender
rosemary
thyme
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Melt the bottom of the candle and let a few drops of wax pool into the bottom of the ice tray. Quickly set the candle in the melted wax to hold it in place.
2. Fill the tray with water about 1/2 to 3/4 full. Make sure the candle sticks out above the water. Add the rosemary, lavender, and thyme.
3. Set in the freezer until frozen. When frozen, remove the ice and candle.
4. Set in a cauldron or heat proof dish that is large enough to contain the ice once it has melted. Light the candle and let the ice melt. Recite the incantation.
