Cast a spell to grant three wishes - two for friends and one for a stranger. This is a simple and thoughtful way to help others and make the world a more magical place. All you need is a pinecone, some string, and three feathers.
For this spell, I used three different types of feathers and a pinecone I collected on a local hike. You can use any feathers you like, but try to use different types of feathers if possible. This spell is best cast when the moon is waxing.
ITEMS NEEDED
Pinecone
Twine or String
Three Feathers
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Tie the string to the top of the pinecone with a loop for hanging.
2. Choose three feathers. Pick up the first feather and focus your thoughts on a friend. Make a wish for this friend, and place the feather in the pinecone. Pick up the second feather, and make a wish for a second friend. Place this feather in the pinecone. Pick up the last feather, and make a wish for a stranger. Place this feather in the pinecone.
3. Take the pinecone outside, and hang it in a tree. If you cannot find a suitable tree, then hang the pinecone in a place that calls to you and feels right. Recite the incantation.
Note: The wishes will be cast as each feather leaves the pinecone and is carried off by nature. If you do not hang the pinecone in a tree, then change "I hang them now within this tree to venture forth upon the breeze" to "I hang them now within this place to venture forth in good faith".
